Camelid single domain antibodies (sdAbs) consist only of one antigen binding site of an Alpaca heavy chain antibody. With only ~15 kDa, these Tags are about 10-times smaller than conventional IgG antibody molecules.
Cat. No. N1202-AF568-S |
500 µl purified antibody, lyophilized from PBS, fluorescence-labeled with AZdye 568.
Fluorescence labeled antibodies conjugated to Alexa® dyes are well suited for standard epi-fluorescence setups and confocal microscopy. AZdye® 568: λex 568 nm / λem 665 nm (identical to Alexa® 568) This product or portions thereof is manufactured under license from Life Technologies Corporation. Reconstitute immediately upon receipt! Avoid bright light when working with the antibody to minimize photo bleeching of the fluorescent dye. |
Applications |
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) on 4% PFA perfusion fixed tissue with 24h PFA post fixation. Immunoreactivity is usually revealed by fluorescence or a chromogenic substrate. Some antibodies require special fixation methods or antigen retrieval steps. For details, please refer to the ”Remarks” section.', $event)" style="cursor: help;">IHC: yes Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS); usually cells are fluorescently labeled with antibodies against cell-surface antigens followed by cell-sorter analysis.', $event)" style="cursor: help;">FACS: yes |

FluoTag®-X2 anti-Mouse is a species-specific FluoTag® directed against the κ light chain of mouse.
In FluoTag®-X2, two fluorophore molecules are coupled site-specifically to one individual FluoTag® molecule. Therefore, the reagent targets four fluorophores to your primary mouse antibody.
Due to the monovalent binding, there are no primary and secondary antibody clusters formed, leading to better epitope accessibility and a more precise localization. Since our FluoTags are recombinantly expressed, there is no batch-to-batch variation.
