50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Albumin and azide were added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H2O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use. Antibodies should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze! |

ENT4 (equilibrative nucleoside transporter 4), also known as SLC29A4 (solute carrier family 29 member 4) or PMAT, is a 530 amino acid plasma membrane protein residues with 10–12 transmembrane segments (1). This protein catalyzes the reuptake of monoamines into presynaptic neurons, thus determining the intensity and duration of monoamine neural signaling (4).
ENT4 was located to the endothelial cells in the Blood brain barrier (2, 5), to the luminal membrane of choroid epithelial cells (3), and to neurons (1, 4).
